How to use the Garden Rental Information Packet on our Website
Memo A
- Read carefully all of the information in the "Garden Rental" section of our website - it will provide you with answers to most of your questions. You will find 14 pages of information and 4 memos which provide you with both complete information as well as all the forms you need to book a date at the Museum. For your convenience, the document files have been labeled in numerical sequence so that you can print them out in the proper sequence. Take the virtual tour of the Museum and garden, and look over the portfolio of garden photos in the Garden section of our site.
- If you are interested in considering the garden for your event, refer to the "Listing of Booked Dates" to see if your preferred date is available. We update this list periodically, but you are welcome to call the Museum to check for the latest listing.
- If you are thinking of renting the garden, fill out the "Preliminary Event Checklist" and mail, submit the online form or fax it to us. Please fill it out as completely as possible and be sure to indicate your preferred date(s). Filling out this form does not in any way constitute a reservation or contract on your part or that of the Museum - it merely gives us a thumbnail summary of general and contact information for future reference. This is also a good time to call or email the Museum to discuss any questions which you might have.
- After discussion with the Museum, if you decide to book a date for your event, please send a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the rental charge along with a copy of your signed contract. You must call us when the check and contract are on their way so that we may notify you when they arrive. Upon receipt of the deposit and contract, your date will be reserved and added to our listing of booked dates.
